This is one of the few times that I can celebrate for something associated with Washington D.C.
Daniel Ortega eats here.

Maybe the daughter kept throwing his drugs and/or booze in the toilet.
Obviously not in recovery.

I was talking out my ass, for whatever reason (well the reason is alcohol) it just seemed like stuff a vindictive person (i.e. his wife) would lay on a person more than the truth but what the fuck do I know? I shoulda just kept my mouth shut, my bad. Sorry.
Psyched for DC and the Nats though. I'm driving down there tomorrow (not because of the series, just coincidence), maybe I'll go to the parade on Saturday.

which is pretty incredible when you think about it (it had never happened through a game 6 even). If you did it with coin tosses, the chance of a 6 game happening is 1 in 64, a seven game series 1 in 128. There have been alot more than that, especially given that basketball and hockey use them, and it's not just the final series but all the 7-game playoffs. Now granted only a minority go to 7 games, and there is some home field advantage, but you'd think it would have happened before in a 6 game series at least. Home field advantage really isn't that much in baseball, more in other sports From https://www.npr.org/2019/10/30/77485...ters-in-sports :
So in baseball, it's about a 4% edge relative to, say, a 50/50 game. If you took two teams that were relatively evenly matched, paired them up at where one of the teams was a home team, that home team is going to win about 54% of the time [yeah I know it should either be an 8% edge or 52% percent of the time- not sure which mistake he made]. And if you were to contrast that to other sports, say, like the NBA, you could take two NBA teams that were roughly the same in terms of talent, put one of them at home, and that home team is going to win about 62% of the time.
from another source https://bleacherreport.com/articles/...-major-sports:
NBA: 73 percent
NHL: 59 percent
NFL: 59 percent
MLB: 51 percent
