Yankees can hit, that was a good series.
Be interesting to see where it goes from here.

And the Uniforms did blow, who ever did that should be fired, tarred, feathered, sent to the desert.

    Incredible thoughts
    Incredible minds
I’m so overwhelmed, how did my brain contain them?

Didn’t believe Manfred / MLB Corp could look much more inept

Allegedly the idea was to have uniforms in monichrome colors so it would highlight whatever bling/apparel the players would be wearing. Apparently they don't get to fully express themselves with all those annoying other colors stealing the show.

My wife loved the all whites. So there’s that. She watches a ton of baseball, too, not just some pink hat fan

What's even worse is the nicknames. The names are on the shirts for a reason. If I don't know who somebody is, I don't know their nickname either.

Sox in town for a couple. Got some RF tix to hang with Mookie, but maybe Flaco will be playing there with Mook in CF.

I hear ya on the nicknames to a point; I can't tell which Yankee is which half the time because they don't have names on their jerseys, but one really made me laugh this weekend.

Tyler Naquin was "Billy", which is apparently what his teammates have called him as a nondescript outfielder since the day he got called up. Pretty funny how he owned it.

    second that.

guys with nicknames usually earned them if they aren't some re-arranging of their actual name and mlb fans will know those names and do you really need to know someone's emoji ?

Actually, some kids had a sign basically trying to get a ball from him. They tried hard all game. Bottom 9 he comes out with a ball and gives them it. Good shit.

Pete Alonso now holds the Mets all time home run record for a single season at 42, with a few more weeks ahead.
In order to properly convert this thread to a polyasshat thread to more fully enrage the liberal left frequenting here...... (insert latest democratic blunder of your choice).

Yeah, our hope for the future, although not sure which is worse-the roid era or the juiced ball era. It's like hitting the old super balls with aluminum bats this year.

I hate to say it, cus I love the guy, but I think Kenley has lost it. I don’t see how they can use him as their closer in October.

We have a lot of late inning options, he will be part of the mix.
