Speaking of Pedroia, Chavis is paying really well lately, and in particular tonight. So there's that.

What in the actual fuck? Until the 9th inning apparently. 5-2 lead turned into a 5-7 deficit.

Yeah I was half-watching, looked up and saw it was tied and turned it off. That's enough baseball for tonight.

I could see him in security somehow. He has a certain attitude.

Fell asleep after the Sox tacked on those last two thinking well, that’s over.

Happily surprised this morning to see the box score. Tribe needed that bad.

    How about those Twins?

MN hasn't fielded a team this fun to watch since the early 2000s, maybe ever.

Now that they won’t lose a draft pick, who’s gonna grab Keuchel and Kimbrel next week?

Dave Dombrowski to the white courtesy phone, paging Dave Dombrowski.

I think I'd take Kimbrel back, as much as he scared me in the second half of last season. Am I crazy? I feel like he was worn down and lacked confidence in his stuff, maybe the rest did him good? I dunno.

He struck me as worn out down the stretch last year, too. Maybe he's still good after the rest, or maybe his arm is hanging on by a thread. No way to know for sure until he's throwing in games.

DK, though: firm pass. I don't need to see what a pitcher with his stuff will do in Fenway without the help of the fairy dust/extra coaching/spitballs/sign-stealing in Houston. I feel like he's a 4.75 ERA waiting to happen in that scenario.

I am good either way. House money makes it easier, and easier on the ol ticker. I think that goofy stance just really sets me off, I dunno.

I’d take a chance on Kimbrel for the dodgers. That abomination of a bullpen needs all the help it can get.

like a top to bottom grinding line up that can put together a 4 run ninth against a good closer?

Pederson and Muncy homered in succession to begin the ninth and Justin Turner doubled. Bellinger’s RBI double brought the Dodgers within a run before Corey Seager was intentionally walked and Matt Beaty reached on an infield single, as Amed Rosario missed touching second base on the grounder. Verdugo ended it with the fly to Carlos Gomez..
    Boys can hit.

Yeah that’ll help. I dozed off between the top and bottom of the ninth and woke up with Turner on second. Not a bad finish at all. It’s a great lineup top to bottom and the fresh prince looks like he could have a future. Already thrown out two runners in his first 2 games.

Technically not a chowd, but a true Sox fan. I'll take the bet if I get it on the flip side back for bet #2. Can be a matching number game series of this weekend. Are they gonna pull a DH to make it up?

If Ryu doesn't start on the mound for the NL in the All Star game, it will be a fucking crime. He is insane right now

    Pete Alonso hit #'s 18 & 19 last night.

Speaking of homers/strikeouts, the Wilpon's investment in Tebow is paying dividends. .153 average, 131 AB's, 1 HR, 55 SO's. Last 10 he is 34 AB's, w/ 16 SO's. Betting he will make the 40 man the end of this year.
