The Mets are a half game out of the wild card, holy shit!

How will they crush my dreams this year?

I was listening to the Tribe radio broadcast on my way to the pool last night and future hall of famer Tom Hamilton was doing the scores around the league and noted how close the Mets are... followed up with, "however, the Mets organization is more than capable of making sure that doesn't happen."

    Vibes.

    BALLGAME!

That was a gritty, nail-biter of a game!

Two game lead or all tied up after tonight.

    Cruz to the DL ☹️

I like our chances Saturday and Sunday.

    Go Twins.

    All square.

Wow, the hottest team in baseball continues to amaze. 12 games out at the end of June, tied for first on the 9th of August.

I was totally wrong about Puig. The dude is an animal. And seriously charismatic and plays the game like a kid. He’s not the player I saw in LA.

Kip, José, Frankie, Carlos... all stellar. In all time form. The young studs on this staff are unreal. Beiber, Clevinger, Plesac, Civale... and 2x Cy Young winner Kluber will be back next week.

This is why baseball is just so damned fun to watch.

    ROLL TRIBE.

Amazingly bad umpiring in last night's Toronto/Yanks game. I hope somebody is being talked to about that.

Grand Slam in the 10th Carlos Santana!!!!

Come into Minnesota and take 3 out of 4 and leave with a tie for the division lead.

They were 11.5 games back at the first of July. That’s nails. That’s the best team in baseball right now.

    ROLL TRIBE.

Tanaka finally has a good outing after a few stinkers. Hopefully it continues. As to Cleveland being the best team in baseball, there may be a few from Houston, Chavez Ravine and the Bronx who take issue with that.

Best team playing right now - no one has won more.

Best team as constructed? That’s debatable, and even I would say Houston.

But there’s this: The Indians have the second best rotation among the contenders

    Fingers crossed. Lotta beisbol left

Passed up tickets so I could listen to the Tribe-Sox game by the pool.

Although I do love a good train wreck.

ETA: MLB released next year's schedule today and someone at the home office was really thinking. DET opens up in CLE on March 25. Yeah, that should be postcard weather that day.

spending the first two weeks of the season in the AL Central is brutal, I guess if there's an upside it's that a number of those games might be postponed till later in the season.
