That was an ass whooping. My kid was bummed his team lost a game 11-1 last night. We get home, turn on the TV and he saw that it happens in the pro's too so he kinda felt better about it.

Paxton v. Cashner tonight. Not exactly a match of titans, I guess we'll see.

I thought it was funny last night the way the ump kept punishing the Yanks for LeMahieu's late time call.

Twinkies DFA 4 bullpen arms in the last week?

That can't be a good sign.

14 innings was a late one last night. I was not in high gear this morning.

Fucking Spectrum is doing "system maintenance" and "some or all customers may not be able to access some or all services for a period of time". Are you shitting me?

edit: missed the whole game because of that crap

The Panda with his 2nd extra inning game winning HR in a week last night.

But check out the play the fan made. One hands the catch of the HR ball while holding his sleeping baby daughter. She doesn't even wake up!

And Giants set a MLB record with their 6th extra inning win in a 10 game span!

Ugly ugly ugly. Yankees pitching better pick it back up, or they’ll blow that lead

11.5 games out on June 1.

1 game out on July 27.

Twins have played .500 ball so it ain’t a choke. This Tribe club is scrappy and hot as fuck. Best in baseball during that span.

Cut payroll, injuries to star players and Cy Young winners, rookies galore... go ahead, sleep on em. They’re counting on that.

    ROLL TRIBE.

Trevor Bauer throws a ball over the CF fence after getting pulled.

I think Angel Hernandez called it a strike.

Went to the A’s game today. First game in long time. Is the base coaching box where coach is not supposed to stand? What a silly nonsensical decoration.

The field shift and swing for the fence baseball is also new to me.

I do like the faster pitch clock. A lot less batter fidgeting going on.

Mets trade away two top 10 prospects for a "possible" starter??? Everyone questioning the trade, what's new?
In order to properly convert this thread to a polyasshat thread to more fully enrage the liberal left frequenting here...... (insert latest democratic blunder of your choice).

Far be it from me to understand the Mets (not for lack of trying) but this trade might make sense. The value of those prospects is debatable, and Stroman is under control through next year. And this trade was clearly about 2020.

They just traded Vargas, and may trade Wheeler and/or Thor. Hoping just Wheeler. When all is said and done, they could have a rotation next year of deGrom, Stroman, Thor, and Matz, which is pretty good.

    Anyone else here streaming MLBTV?

About 2 weeks ago it started "loading" at the end of every 1/2 inning.

Now it does it at random times, a lot.

They say no problem on their end my ISP says no problem on their side.

Generally at the end of the inning, but I sometimes have to re-fresh the page to get it going again. I am usually bopping around on other pages during commercials, so annoying but hasn't had me throwing things yet.

Following MLBs advice I powered down my ROKU, my Router and uninstalled the channel. Then I reversed that. So far so good except for Rendon's grand slam.

No issues with my for any of my devices, but I did do a hard refresh of my Samsung TV to solve a different problem and got a shiny new MLB app on it recently.

My one complaint with them is that if I turn off "Hide Scores" on one app, it will turn it on in some of the other ones. It's like the programmers mixed up their true/false flag somewhere

    FUUUUUUCCCCCKKK.

I have to have faith in the Tribe front office. They have been exceptional in their trade deadline decisions the past ten years.

That said: Bauer traded to the Reds,

Offensive power in Puig coming back from Cincy, Franmil Reyes to Cleveland from San Diego and P Logan Allen.

Tons of (needed OF) power coming back to the Tribe who are also getting ASG Starter from 2 years ago Salazar and 2 time Cy Young winner Kluber soon - which I’m sure factored into the decision.

Clubhouse vibe is huge with this group, my only hope is that this doesn’t torpedo it.

Oh neat, I just saw that minutes before he was traded Puig instigated a bench clearing brawl in Cincy.

That’s just great. That’s just what we need.

I’ll take the guy who can’t control his temper and launches balls over the CF fence over this hothead.

    For now.

I believe it was almost half an hour after he was traded, and his bags were packed.
