I hate that mother fucker. When the O’Malleys sold the Dodgers to him is when I became a Yankee fan.

Cant wait to see how many bombs the Sox hit against the Jays in a few weeks in Fenway.
Watched them give up 7 runs in an inning against the Angels earlier this moth in Toronto.

Or Tampa. They need to get fans there somehow.

4 of the last 6 WS champs, 6/6 last all star game winners. Last year was the first since 2003 for the NL to come out on top in interleague play. I think you're mistaking parity for awfulness.

Congratulations to 10 year vet Carlos Santana getting the start at 1st for the ASG, at home, where it all began for him, The Jake.

Shout out to the best pro hitter in the game, and regrettable non-re-signee Michael Brantley for earning a start too.
I still call it The Jake.

Just talking this year. Pitching on teams.
    parity?
The West is the only division that isn't ruled by one or 2 teams, and the Astros are the only team I would be scared of there.
Just saying the home run record against the arms in Baltimore and Toronto Especially is nothing to hang your hat on.

i’m not hanging my hat, it is simply once again one of the most historically powerful offensive clubs that baseball has seen.

the al pitching is weird this year. you look at last years cy young vote getters and kluber and sevy, are injured, bauer and sale have sucked, and diaz switched leagues. at least it seems odd to me that five of the ten best by one method would be off the map.

maybe i have some east coast bias but what divisions are scary in the NL? because it kind of sounds like you’re just describing baseball in general.

you have a good young braves team and a post peak washington mixed in with the kind of meh phillies in the east. in the central you have the cubs and a pretty good milwaukee club. and in the west you have the dodgers.

cleveland and the a’s especially seem good for late season runs if that’s your thing.

6-6 after 1 inning in london, this thing should have been an exhibition game.

This is what Brits do at stadiums. Drink and participate in mob violence.

I was in the gym, looked up and saw 14-6, and thought yeah, short fences, but then I realized it was the top of the fourth. Holy shit. This is really dumb.

as boston scores 4 in the 8th and brought tying run to the plate, you were saying ?

so WTH is with London baseball ? I did not watch game 1, but game 2, not every ball is a home, many are dropping in, many are getting thru the infield and many infield plays are botched by MLB players and we are now at 50 runs with an inning to go. looks like sloppy fielding has let some runs score but not 50. you'd figure despite the flight and time lost, relief pitchers on both sides could go 2 and 3 innings.
