I've heard that once you get past 50, the tables reverse, guys are in demand, girls more desperate. is that not the case?

Probably somewhat, but I think the more attractive ones still get a ton of swipes vs. them swiping on us.

Another wacky thing I don't really get is that on Bumble the women have to reach out first after a match (unless you're a paid member). I get matches sometimes, and never hear from them. To me that indicates they are quite possibly in greater demand than I.

I also think there's a huge advantage to being in a city, as has been stated. I'm in DT Seattle and the pool is pretty big. I left for three days over the weekend and came back to dozens of new profiles on both apps. My pal of a similar demographic who lives in Tucson tells me his experience is MUCH different.

I also notice that even a few miles to the north or south of my city the profiles are much less appealing in general than when I'm home.

I doubt it. No offense, but someone who gets up to feed the horses, chat's with insufferable girlfriends, CBD's herself to sleep and pain relief, and cooks that much is definitely not married, or on an app for dating.

Most of the over 50 that are suitable are either very successful and don’t like “no” for answer or they fleeced their Ex for every drop. Don’t know how to “work” at anything but nails, hair, lipo, massage and playing with cucumbers/personal toys. Oh and get to the gym 5days a week. lest I leave out their dog Coco that fits in a purse.

Honestly, you can find just about anything you're looking for if you throw enough money/time/energy at it. Sifting through the rubble for the “right” one – I’m still working on it. Sizing up a 45yo the last few days that’s coming over Friday morning to watch me take a shower.

Words to think about – Menopause. 44 to 52, phun like rabbits until you use what juices made them still go. Then, they turn into trees. It’s a hard game to play well.
