    That’s not exactly in Wenatchee

I lulzed because it's true. Pokey would be on my list, provided I could get past the crushing LDS infuence. It seems like a Bozeman-type town from the 80s.

Oh, and all the obervations about Bozeman, including FringeLyfe's copy pasta take? Nailed it.

It's probably way easier to change your definition of "overcrowded" than it will be to find a unicorn. So maybe start to work on that?

What about east coast - Portland, Maine or Portsmouth, NH. Got the great summers, need to strike while the iron is hot in the winter. Great spring skiing. Tons of lakes, ocean, waves.....

    Man. 10 years...

I was pretty jaded then. I’d be pretty happy to be skiing Taos these days.
I guess karma had some bills to collect.

Where was that copied from? It was spot-on and brilliant, but Superior is right about the Ridge at Bridger. That place'll separate the men from the boys pretty quickly.

I like how you guys think Bozeman sucks. Have any of you ever lived in Jersey?

I thought we were going to keep ski paradise quiet: Taylor ham, someone else pumps your gas, good traffic flow at 3:00 AM, excellent Italian restaurants, good access to the Poconos and Campgaw back country.

Don’t discount the EC. Second on Manchester and Portsmouth, NH, considering any home within an hour of Boston will be or already is worth a small fortune.

Also, tough to beat Montpelier, VT for access to tons of mountain biking and skiing. Huge outdoor community too.

Eliminate the need for the nerfed up versions of outdoor activities like resort skiing and flow trails. Might find a place or two still unmolested by capitalists......for now.

Yeah, the local VMBA chapter has been building trails that you can pedal to from
downtown. It’s not a huge network but it’s expanding. They also started grooming fat bike trails this year.

You’ve also got great riding under 30 min away at Millstone, Perry Hill, Stowe, Hinesburg, Northfield, etc. Its a great hub for a huge amount of varied riding.

Best Small City for Skiing/biking/getting outside

I’m with you on this part. It’s like 90% of the rolls at the two main places are gross deep fried tempura and mayonnaise concoctions.

As for this whole thread - I really don’t know why you guys take the bait and respond to these - it’s like groundhog day.

Plus we get less and less snow over the years.

Now we have moved to the absurd. There will be much more to talk about now.

TGR Pro-tip: ignore the question...state your opinion.

Example: "I'm looking for a 3/4 ton pickup to pull about 10K" TGR "Get a Tundra!"

Example: "I want a small city with all the nice things and good paying jobs" TGR "Montpelier"

There is a lot to love about Vermont...it's called September and October. Honestly, it is like Seattle without everything that is good about Seattle.

Pro-tip: Then you offer a counter opinion that is equally as irrelevant.

Example: "Have you thought about somewhere like Craig, CO or Laramie? I think they are just what you are looking for!"

Here's a different way to think about it, do you need to like where you live? I love where I live but the cost of living kinda milks you dry. What if you lived somewhere less awesome but had an extra $20K a year for vacation? I meet people all kinda of great places, "Where ya from", "Wichita, I'll be in La Grave for two months!"
