No reports of major weather changes in hell, nor pigs flying in the Tahoe area, so I'm assuming "yours" generally refers to GG and not the Trail Pistol specifically?

I really, really want one of these things. Anybody interested in a short-travel Waltworks?
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

We're pretty much the same size, how do you ride with bars that wide? I can't do it, tried but it just wasn't going to work. It hurt my hands, wrists and the base of my neck. Shit core strength probably plays into it and I"m putting too much weight on the bar but still being relatively narrow means my hands are spread too far making me lean over too much and I feel like I'm craning my neck to see far enough ahead.

Does it make me a bad person if I think the frame is fugly? And it’s not GG specific, for some reason the aesthetic of having a short piece of tube from the top tube to seat tube bugs me whenever I see it from any manufacturer. Great bikes otherwise tho!

Nope. But that said, don't let it get in the way of appreciating a great bike. And remember - there's no point talking aesthetics when it comes to something like a mountain bike. You're not supposed to look at it, any ways...

Let's compromise: stand next to the jump, and I'll buzz your shoulder.

Yeah, the cable routing is great. Only downside is that all cables run on the left side - makes for a tight turn for the dropper cable.

The seat? It's an sdg. I sit on it. Sometimes.

Are those stock OEM dual-compound High Rollers?

    Those tires suck.

    YMMV.

I'm pretty sure the 800s work because of the steep seat tube. My Reign had 740s on a 50 mm stem and I didn't feel like I could go wider without being too stretched out. I actually assumed the 800s would be too wide. But, I decided to ride them first to figure out how much to cut and they felt totally comfortable. I've never measured my ape index, so I'm not sure how our arm length compares.

Yeah, it only fits a short bottle, and the location is kinda weird, but that's definitely better than no bottle.

A side entry holder will allow for a bigger bottle.

Hey Noah, thanks for the review. How does it work for seated jumping? My current bike keeps bucking me, is this one any better?
    How about seated bunny hopping?
