Where in the World to ski next week; Feb 5-13th
I had originally planned a trip to Japan next week, Feb 5-13th on Honshu but with an imminent rain event to summit elevations and a luckluster forecast, I’m looking for other options. Who’s been getting snow and has a strong 7 day forecast? Anywhere in the world is a feasible. Looking for deep snow and steeper terrain, home mountain is Jackson Hole.

Aspen’s had a great season. We have a good base and all of the gated terrain’s been open.
South Western Colorado’s calling for up to 2ft., Saturday night thru Wednesday.
Your pass will get you 1/2 price tickets here. Ski the storm here. Then hit Silverton Thursday/Friday and Telluride a couple of days.
Bring your bikes and hit Moab/Fruita on the way home.

If you want to stay close-ish to home, it appears the skiing should be about as good as it gets in LCC next week.

Just got back from Mammoth this evening. Storm totals of 80"+ so far with much of the mtn closed today due to too much snow. It was to deep to move.

Tahoe / Mammoth is going off right now and just had a huge low elevation storm. Another 50 inches or more last night. Once things clear up and are dug out, it's gonna be all time. Cold temps in the forecast should preserve things.
