    186 BMT109, 191 Wren (11/12), 191 C+D (09/10), 194 XXL, 186 Asteroids, 2x Head 102

Some classic burly straight skis plus a newer touring rig. Prices are for local exchange in the greater Seattle area. I will ship but you’re on the hook to cover the cost. Trades considered, including router and table saw.

    Black Diamond / Joule 175cm / 2008-09 / $25

126-95-114, R 22.5m. 3400g/pair. Full camber, wood core with torsion box wrap. Inserts for Look P10/12/14 and Fritschi Freeride @ 282mm BSL. Lightly used, good shape, a little dry and some light rust from sitting around. Same ski as the Kilowatt. My wife bought these from the demo fleet at Northern Lights in Bozeman.

    ON3P / Great Scott (Cease and Desist) 191cm / 2009-10 / $75... Pending

145/125/130, R 29.8m. Running length 122cm, tip rocker 25cm x 2cm, tail rocker 15cm x 1.5cm. Heavy and stiff… big ass pow boards. Inserts for FT12 @ 320mm BSL, Look Pivot @ 315mm. Yes, I toured on these for a while. Bamboo core with carbon and glass. Two repaired core shots, some superficial scratches. Edges solid, except one tip delam which occurred during a hard freeride comp crash. Tried epoxying it once, but it popped immediately. Recommend bolting or riveting… or just skiing them, as they’ve remained unchanged for years.

I bought these in the fall of 2009, the first production year of ON3P, before Scott Skis issued the Cease and Desist letter to the company for trademark infringement. So I call em the Great Scotts.

    ON3P / Wrenegade 191cm / 2011-12 / $100 / SOLD

141/113/126, R 31.3m. 4820g/pair. Inserts for large Dukes, done poorly. Drilled for Look Pivots at 315mm BSL. Bamboo, glass, carbon.

Yes, these are the uber-Wrens. The burliest of the lineage.

Sad to sell these but I haven’t been riding them. They’re stiff, fast, and demanding.
My father bought these new and put a couple of seasons on them at Bridger. There’s one obvious weld and a few superficial scratches. Edges look a bit dull but thicc and intact.

    Stockli / Asteroid 186cm / 2001-2002 / $40

121/91/108, R 27m. Classic early fatty from the turn of the century. Drilled 3x… RadST v1 @ 304mm, Look P10/12/14 @ 315mm with toe riser (not same pattern as binding toepiece), and unknown. Some base repairs, overall ok shape. Edges are thin but whole.

These have been hanging around for a while in storage, but on a whim in 2014 were mounted with pins and skied on volcanoes for a bit. With me they’ve been on the summit of Adams and skied the Fuhrer from 13k. I’ll mount these on the wall if they don’t sell.

    Head / Richie 193cm / 2009-10 / $50 / SOLD

125/102/117, R 37.3m. Unmounted. These were the last iteration of the iM103, minus one layer of titanal I think. Still a burly sandwich build. Some light rust.

    **********

    Head / Supermojo 183cm / 2005-06 / $20 with HammerHead Tele / SOLD

125/102/117, R 37.3m. Mounted 3x for Tyrolia FreeFlex 18 @ 320mm BSL, Look P10/12/14 @ 315mm BSL, and HammerHead tele. Another Monster 103 variant… these were my warrantee replacements after delamming the orange iM103s. Skied the shit out of these, great ski… they seemed more like a 190cm. Edges ok, intact. Bases ok, scratched, no major repairs that I recall. One ski starting to delam underfoot, probably easily repairable with some epoxy and clamps.

Skied these tele for 2 runs this year at Alpy and I’m not willing to work that hard again, jeezus christ. Used to be stronger/dumber I guess.

    Volkl / Katana 197cm / 2009-10 / $10 / SOLD

141/111/131, R 30.2m. Mounted 2x for Look Pivot @ 315mm BSL, Salomon? @ unknown. One ski is bent in the tip… thought about trying to bend it back but never did. Fair condition, edges look ok, bases are scratched but show no major repairs. Bend is noticeable when skiing but not majorly.

    Dynastar / XXL 194cm / 2009-10 / $65 / SOLD

132/109/122, R 41m. Mounted 1.5x for Look Px12/14/15/18 @ 315mm BSL, Look Pivot @ 315mm BSL (toes shared). Couple of base repairs, one dimple from a misplaced too-long screw. I bought these new via shop form in the spring of 2010 and took them on a memorable solo trip to Jackson, and skied them daily till 2013. The aluminum tip spacers are chewed a little, standard for these. Edges are solid, and I’m proud to report that only a diamond stone has ever touched them. The factory grind marks are still evident along the length and they’re sharp (detuned tips and tails of course).

Beautiful skis, one of my favorite graphics ever, lots of life left in these.

    Volkl / BMT109 186cm / 2015-16 / $450 flat with skins and ski cramps / $750 mounted / Pending

134/109/119, R 26.5m. 3400g/pair. Drilled once for Dynafit Speed Superlite 2.0 @ 304mm BSL. V-Werks construction uses poplar/ash wood core with carbon wrap and full rocker. Toured maybe 15 days with these, not a lot of use. Edges close to perfect, couple of minor burrs that have been passed over with the diamond. Bases have a couple of scratches, nothing worth ptexing.

These are pretty fucking cool skis and I’m pricing them to possibly keep if the fish don’t bite. Very predictable… pretty long radius plus the full rocker means they don’t hook or deflect, and they deal quite well with crusts and other shit conditions. Their stability surprised me, as I expected a jittery ride by the lightweight carboniferous build. They ski powder very well and hit a bit above the waist class, IMO, and make a very capable midwinter touring ski. They are on the wide side for skinning on spring mornings but shred the corn when the sun cooks.

G3 Alpinist skis trimmed to fit are included with the skis. Plush is in good condition, couple dings, glue is starting to get long in the tooth. Dynafit ski crampons also included @ 110mm width (they’re black to match the dweebo stealth rig).

I'm selling my only set of bindings here, so I guess I'm done. Haven't tele'd more than a handful of days since like 2011. If I could ski every day again, I'd pick it back up for sure.
