Good news for skiers traveling to the area! We're excited to announce that three destination lodging locations in Walla Walla have recently joined the Bluewood Stay & Play partner program:

    Abeja Winery and Inn
    The FINCH
Marcus Whitman Hotel & Conference Center

Guests who STAY at partner lodging locations and PLAY at Bluewood can enjoy discounts on both room rates and lift tickets when they book the Bluewood package. For details and a complete list of partner lodging locations--including options in Dayton--go to http://bluewood.com/stay-and-play

So, are you posting all this up just out of community pride? Or are you shilling for them on the side? Inquiring mindlessness wants to know!

did not stay there, but tasted and purchased some wines at Abeja when out that way in September and I can confirm the environs appeared lovely. It's just a few minutes away from downtown Walla Walla, so you will need to drive a little for sustenance off the grounds.

Place looks very cool. Good to see smaller independents thriving in the new Epikonic world of corporate takeovers.

Just spoke with a rep from Bluewood. She said the discounted price/packages vary depending on where you stay. The packages are set by each establishment.

Well, you should be at least getting a pass out of the deal. What you post up is probably the most marketing they've ever had.

I always forget about Bluewood until I see KQ post up. I'm wanting to hit it this winter, but the 1" base stat on the homepage leaves me thinking it may be a while before you guys open though.

Snow started off with promise early on but has since faded however there is a storm on the way this weekend. Hopefully it will get things rolling.

KQ are you from the Walla Walla/KPR region? I am a student at Whitman, Bluewood is fun but more fun to be had touring or going to Anthony Lakes.

I live in W2 (out in the county west of town) but was born & raised in Seattle. Been here for the last 11 years. Good to know I'm not alone out here in SEWA!
