    silverton unguided 2019 roll call

That’s what I heard. We are debating to go or not. Worried hardly anything will open unguided Thursday-Saturday.

Sounds like Brill is planning on screwing over the unguided pass holders... limited terrain, limited parking, probably Cement Crk side ( mando, riff/raff terrain closed...)

Communication has been limited. I'd like to hear from anyone who's been up there guided and what their experience was like. Was all their terrain available and HOW much did they have to PAY EXTRA to be heli-ed in from town???

    This too-

Well that email was a buzzkill. Might pull the plug on our unguided trip we had planned for Weds - Fri. Hard to justify driving 15 hrs for "limited terrain" that will be bumped up when our Wasatch snowpack is gonna be harvesting corn shortly.

No not all terrain was available this weekend. The heli bump over the debris clean up was free from what I heard from the Friday folks.

The situation up the road is gnarly. Those paths could easily pop again. It is single lane for a bit and yes parking was limited.

those avys and road closures kinda fucked our trip so we didnt go
bummed but the reality is you cant plan ski trips in advance and expect them to work out
we went to mammoth instead and skied untracked pow 4 days straight with no hiking required
sacrificed a season pass for good conditions close to home
