I wouldn't head anywhere to see U2, I'd probably head the other direction.

Has nothing to do with age. Splat ain't no spring chicken, and MTM -- while younger than splat -- sure ain't a young punk either. A punk, sure, but not a young one.

So, wait, U2 is performing at Burning Man this year?
How did that little nugget of information slip past me?
Of all the years for me to miss it!
I hope they play "Electric Co." That's my favorite.

Bumping, because it's almost go time or it is go time. I met thommy21 that night, I was the only one to show up. I'm in this dome having a grand time, at the right time, in the right place, and a guy comes flying through with a megaphone screaming at everyone if they had change for a nickle, which is not really that disturbing. I grabbed him, met his others, and we drank whisky and talked shit until I was proper, then, I biked out into who knows what.

    Do it.

Last year I tried a mini where I wore a squaking pig on my neck at the slutgarden olympics. Didn't materialize. Too many people watching deep deep action.

Splat and I hung a bunch over the week or so which was trey cool. I would pass his rv everytime I needed a good shit in the blue rooms after a sunrize set. Which is everyday.

    Moar good times.

    Do it!

One more, and then I'm done.

4 or 5 years ago, I couldn't make it, but I gave a friend a disposable camera to do whatever with, with the promise that I would develop it when he got back.

Weeks later, he hands me the dusty trashed camera and I developed it. I think 10 photos came out.

But, one was a perfect shot of Robot Heart with a naked chick (she was at some time) upsidedown on the heart at sunrise, and in the very shallow foreground is a great ski buddy of mine receiving a joint. What are the odds of that?

Bonus: After 3 or 4 years off, we emailed today, and he's coming back to the burn this year! Hopefully he and my other very good Ttips bud makes it to the gathering. I'll try to find the photo. Holy shit that was funny seeing serendipitous imagery. No way two of my really good friends from totally different walks of life hit it right then.

But yet, they did. They didn't know. It was a snap on a gifted disposable at the very right time.
