The Ski Essentials $180 skis thread
I am loosely affiliated, but also wouldn't waste peoples time with pedestrian deals. Plenty of non-$180 skis to be stoked on (see $315 BMT 94s), but I'll keep things clean here.
List as follows, including sizes available at the moment.
Note: Prices are $200, -10% until Friday taken at checkout. Free CONUS shipping

You failed to mention the DH and SG skis for $150! They even have some in red.

yeah, there are a fuck ton of older WC race skis (DH, SG). Thought I'd save that for EpicSki

Seriously, if anyone has longboard day aspirations... it'd be hard to beat the Volkl Racetiger dh skis in 210 (or 213) for 125 bucks...

Not for nothing, and maybe this should be it's own thread, but if you want race skis hard to beat this:
Rossi GS (195cm) w/ Maxflex 180:

Stout bindings are fucking cheap too:
Rossi Ax2 MaxFlex 180: $135

Rossi Ax3 RockerFlex 150: $135

Pretty sure SIn and Saffron were the same in '16. Poplar cores, 178 Saffron and 180 Sin shared same exact dimensions for sidecut (128-98-118). Def no differences like metal vs. no-metal.
The vinyl topsheet experiment you speak of was when Evo was selling Star7s cheap. Same generation, Stars were the same as the equivalent Men's ski, so I imagine this holds true throughout the line.

Anyone got any beta on the Cascade?
My SO wants to do some small tours with me this spring. She's working hard on bumps and ungroomed terrain this year, but not a super aggressive skier. Thinking 175s are a pretty good looking CO ski.

I snagged 2 pair. I got them for literally the same thing- SO a splitboarder, and an ok skier, but I am tired of waiting for those long transitions. The effective edge on the Cascade is tiny- lotsa rocker, and the ski is a veritable noodle- very soft flex. The weight is objective, so obviously lightweight. Thinking this will be an excellent non-aggro touring ski.
I got a pair for myself too as this is my dream very early season grass ski. So there's that too.
