    Questions on Jackson Hole

I have a week off work coming up and debating about going to Jackson, BC, or somewhere else. I've never been to Jackson but heard mixed reviews. A lot of people loved the terrain but said it was super expensive and over crowded if there was good snow.

How does the collective feel about JH? Is it worth it or would a trip to Big Sky or interior BC be better?

    umm overcrowded compared to what?

    $75 hotel rooms is expensive?

ya you'd probably have more fun elsewhere
and probably couldn't find any Jackson info by searching either

Definitely overcrowded, expensive, and the terrain isn't even that good. Big Sky is even worse.

I'd head to BC, for sure - have you SEEN how weak the Canadian peso is right now??

    Underrated comment.

That freeze-thaw cycle can be a real bitch mid-season before the spring storm cycles.

I got frostbite in Jackson. Definitely not worth it. BC is pretty overrated as well.

Agreed. Far more celebrities at Deer Valley too, and isn't the scene a big part of why we all ski?

Jackson is icy, steep and they don’t groom much. Plus their lifts are slow and boring. I’d go to Deer Valley where the grooming is top notch, the food is primo, and the fast lifts get you to the goods..the Greatest Snow On Earth tm.

Overrated IMO. Not enough grooming, way too crowded when it snows. You'll wait at least an hour in the morning for the tram! Give Whistler a shot - guessing you are from the PNW, so it is an easy drive from there.
