Nice deal. This is a great quiver ski. It rails groomers and anything smooth. It has serious backbone and rewards balance. Don’t let the dentist rap fool ya!

Seems pretty light for a quiver ski...how does it handle chop?

Pure 3 is not as light and bouncy as the tour 1 and not as damp as some of the hybrid builds but it plays well in afternoon snow, does fair ok on hard/icy. It's really a soft snow boot deep and groomer ski that is not so one dimensional in turn shape. It can slarve, shmeer and rail edge short and long. It's not red so it's not the fastest, it's doesn't say SS prorider so it doesn't lay track in chunder. It's just a 99 waist ski that's fun to ride.

A place in the quiver. Not a one quiver ski. It likes a smooth and predictable running surface imho. Skis skinny for the dimensions. It demands speed, will blast soft chop but by no means damp.

Makes a good touring ski too. I reach for mine most days. I'm not a huge fan of them in bounds but I attribute that more to skiing tech bindings than the ski.
