Had a great time fly fishing the past few days with visiting maggot skifishbum on the Missouri River. He took pics, I didn't, so hopefully when he gets home he can post them up. Great time.

We didn’t have the weather that Harry and SFB did but a great day on the MO connecting with an old friend. Streamers and crawdads were the ticket today....

    poundkeyaintsafraidofbrownfliesfishorpark

anyhow after leaving lumpy and the green

I went back and worked a couple days fore my attendance at a steamboat greenies riverfolk rendezvous of purveyors of rotomolded fishing crafts
with the float and be happy tagline was required
seeing as I posess the oldest boat with the most miles on it
showed up early on hump day to secure our spot
threw the boat in at lonetree for a quick lap down to pipeline
came into the 1st fast water bend and got the eat I was lookin for a mile or so downriver and a few spin to wins put er in the boat

and well yeah they didn't call the rendezvous
    dinkfest

stuck a few more and the god and I hiked our shuttle back
    dsfk

    went back and set camp
I don't wear socks with my sandels cause
    poundkeyslackertansmatter

    friends showed up

    brought the lutz

    caddis joined the party

I try and make it a point to fish with the cat who stood by my side back when the doing of the thing involved the I dos of matrimony
hit the sack and left the party globe light on for him

    and for a poundkeyentomologicalexperiment

rolled out early and were at the little hole by 8
lit em up pretty goods again

lack of float will bring the unhappy

wouda missed Bullwinkle ifin the god in the back didn't woof em

2019 maggot fish gazing and shit talking

Can anyone school me on the Green? The old lady and I rolled through a few years ago and had some fun wading, but I’d rather take a boat down.

I can row, she can throw. We’d be around early October for a week after I return from SA.

This picture pretty much sums up why fishing is great. My buddy is 73, fishes more than most and still gets a charge out of every encounter.

Wandered off to Jupiter Florida last week. Friend has a boat I use while down there. Never feel like I know enough to catch a fish, but somehow managed to land this beast. We've caught a bunch, but this one is about double the size of our biggest.
