First wading day of the season. Our short summer has begun. Waters still very high, quite extreme wading. One and a half months of endless day. Going to be good!

Trout, we get also salmons, but river is 500km and they just started rising.

It's a nice grayling, but quite mediocore up here. If you now what you're doing, you'll get 45-50cm everyday. They grow over 60cm here. Damn good dryfly fishing!

Hey birdfucker, how’s it going? Someone asked me how long it took to land that permit. I said 10-15 minutes. During the editing of my super sick and badass YouTube video, I discovered that the entire clip, from just after hookup to landing to photo session to release, is 5 minutes and 31 seconds. Gimme an email and I’d be happy to send it to you for critique and judgement.

    Video drops on Monday!

Proper fish handling technique, gently hold them while snapping a pic, then release them unharmed back into the water...

    Best one yet.

You might as well quit. There are huge flyfisherpersons that spend a lifetime just trying to catch a permit the size of a dinner plate.

Had a mini summit with some bait slingers from Vermont. It was a tad breezy, but fun things happened.

Hoping to get up there in August. Leaving for Whistler today and won't be back for about a month. It's definitely on the to-do list though.
