    Fer us on the frontrange, Decks has been more of a shit show than i can ever remember; Clear was nothing above the lake and good below, flows surely go up soon but 60 in lawson 80 in golden almost gin. Little dudes coming up to grab a caddis or probably whatever. seems nobody wanna fish next to the highway, fine by me.

    It's a challenging river. Clears fast, and one of 2 streams in Vt not stocked, all wild fish. They are spooky as hell. I'm always debating going down to 6x, but then faced with one of those hot, wild trout on light tippet.
