Yes, two days. Chased my kid around on his super gs and then freeskied them. The reaction from lift lines is hilarious. I'm my favorite bootfitter other than mntlion, but he's really far away and I don't need much work.

So...for those of us not in the know, what is it?

Google -> Plugski -> something about the 97mm RS140 with replaceable soles...? So it's basically RS130 with replaceable soles and a leather lace-up liner ... in pink? Darn, I was wishing and dreaming for a ZB with a 97 mm last.

RX LV in a 140 Flex, with 1988 Lange XRi color scheme with custom powerstrap, world cup liners, and RX replaceable soles. Sorta of a unicorn boot. Only 200 pairs worldwide.

    Damn.

    I was afraid of that.

So they're all spoken for by industry peeps I'm betting.

If anyone has a line on some 25.0/25.5, I'd be most appreciative.

Raced, coached, and worked in industry for about a decade, when I was younger. Probably not enough, but hit me up if you're in the know.

But my big question is: is it a 140 flex like the RS140 aka an RS130 with a leather lace-up liner? Or is a 140 flex like a ZB?

I think it's the shell, the plastic feels thicker/stiffer than my RX130. Not a lace up liner.

That's neat. Sound like my unicorn boot: stiffer than the RS130 in a 97 last. Drool.

Interesting it's not a lace-up. The one from my ZB is -- I guess they changed it. I really like lace-up liners.

Skis stiffer than an RS130, feels ZBish although it's been a while since I played with those so I'm going from memory.

Man, now I really want one.

Seems like the perfect skiing/coaching boot combo.

Skied on buff groomers this AM on Stockli SX skis. This boot is really awesome.

These boots should definitely be paired with some Corvus Freebirds. Go all in on the pink.

I dig the faded red , but am I missing something else? Other than retro coolness? Looks like a four buckle overlap alpine boot...

Not really, it's just a retro color boot with sort of the "best of" features of all the top-end Langes, but mostly we are ejaculating about how cool we are to get the unicorn boot. My understanding there were only 200 pair made worldwide. Just a bit of smug humble bragging and navel gazing.

140 flex shell with rubber soles, and a high density high performance liner all in a boot which isn't 92mm wide.

If they made it regularly, I bet it would sell. I can't be the only one with fat feet who wants a 140 flex that's lighter and easier to get on/off than a true plug.

It sounds like Dynastar/Lange will be making more products tailored to the Freeride crowd in the next few years, I wouldn't be surprised if a 140 Flex RX is one of those things.

When they make the next run in Tii yellow, I'm getting a pair. This is exactly the boot I was telling my this morning that I needed.
