    PSA 20% off BD Sale including Skis code NEWGEAR19

    Black Diamond has a sale going on now through 1/31, 20% off anything (I think) in their sale page with code NEWGEAR19. They've got some 2nd's on current models, and models from a couple years back. Can get some Helio's down around $400. I'm not sure when they switched over their models to the Blizzard factory so can't speak to durability on some of these, but worth a look.

    Really like my Route 105 skis for touring. I did bend a tip edge pretty good when I hit a rock so maybe not the most durable even though they ski fairly stout (saw a similar concern on BD's website). I haven't tried them in much yet except powder and some firm/thin BC conditions and one day of lift served in shallow pow, groomers, soft chop where they did fine.

    Sadly and surprisingly is doesn’t work on clothing. At least not for the flannel I want.
