"That first turn was a little airy, eh Bjarne?" Heh. My Elvis leg still hasn't disengaged, and it's been a few days since I watched the video.

I saw TGR’s Winterland last night...the segment with Jeremy Jones was entirely too short

When does the Fifty start up again?

I thought they did a great job with the limited time they had to show the adventure. Good thing is, a very "Fifty-esque" version of that plus more will be coming out in a short-film I'm calling "Peak Obsession". It'll of course be released online this fall (late-November) but will be showing at a few film festivals beforehand.

    List so far is:
High Fives in Annecy, FR on October 6th
    IF3 in Montreal, October 17th-19th.
The Backcountry Film Festival - Touring to a local area near you.
The Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival on November 14th in Vancouver, BC. (Will be speaking there too)

I missed submission deadline I think. Was trying to go but saw they weren't really taking films of the length I produced and din't seem like I was on time for submission.

I'm guessing you were looking at the NEPSA portion of the program. I'd bet they'd figure a way to fit you into everything else....

Let me know if you'd like a contact there.

    Nice!
Way to incorporate some other stories into your project. It adds richness and layering to the reasons we love seeing these adventures.

Another A+ film with bonus story. In general, I really like your balance of the climb, the story, and the skiing in all your films.

The skiing is just the medium.

The medium for the snowsliding, but mostly for talking story, for the filtering and ordering of life, for making plans in pencil, for taking it all in while we can.

    I love it. Thanks.

Super excited about this. This series is the first time online content has gotten me as amped for skiing / ski season like finally receiving the season's DVDs in the mail. Way to win the internet, cody.

Sweet, I have something to check out tomorrow when I'm chained to my desk.
"fuck off you asshat gaper shit for brains fucktard wanker." - Jesus Christ
"She was tossing her bean salad with the vigor of a Drunken Pop princess so I walked out of the corner and said.... "need a hand?"" - Odin
"everybody's got their hooks into you, fuck em....forge on motherfuckers, drag all those bitches across the goal line with you." - (not so) ill-advised strategy
