So what differentiates this from the many other ~300g tech binders?

Is this their first "normal" pin toe? (as opposed to Tecton/Vipec DIN-style release toe)

What happens if you have a knee fall? Also am I seeing one heel lifter and flat mode? Turn the binding to enter touring mode. Looks cool, the increase in the lighterweight tech bindings is pretty cool.

hm, a light tech binding with actual front elasticity re the final photo? If so, that is very, very interesting imo.
It will be interesting to see if there is rear release as usual, or if the potential front elasticity is paired with some sort of lock in the heel for ski mode.
I would be extremely surprised if the knee fall issue is present in any new or current Fritschi bindings. I would imagine that Tectons v1 / Vipec EVO cured Fritschi from ever doing that mistake again.
lots of photos and description in la langue frog here: https://www.ski-libre.com/infoskiran...schi-xenic-10/
rear din between 4 and 10. Vertical din grade adjustable release in the rear as well? Lengthwise heel binding adjustment like Vipecs and Tectons.
price 330 euros - same as Alpinist, so considerably cheaper than some direct competitors - with lots of nice features.
the brakes are locked by revolving the rear binding.

This is Fritchi's entry in to the lightweight market since the Vipec Evo 12 is ~516g per half including brakes.
It doesn't *look* revolutionary, but if it has toe release, that would be revolutionary in this weight class. I was hoping it would be an ultralight Vipec with non-rotating heel piece, easy elevators, and easy mode shifting.
I think you meant infinitely adjust both horizontal and vertical RV.
ATK Crest 280, Hagan Ride 10 (aka ATK RT 2.0 290), and BD Helio 200 (aka ATK Haute Route 2.0 165) all can do that.
The only binding with linked RVs is the G3 Zed.Originally Posted by blurred

ATK is distributed by Hagan Mountaineering in the USA (some models are rebranded) and a few of the ATK models are rebranded and sold by Black Diamond as Helio bindings. ATK is known for their high quality, light weight, high style, light wallet inducing designs.
This thread is about a 280g binding. Why are you surprised by head bands and euro clothing?
ATK Raider 12 (Hagan Core 12) and Freeraider 14 are certainly regarded as solid and durable touring bindings for more aggressive free touring.Originally Posted by blurred

Most important question:
Is the mount pattern same as vipec/tecton?

Are you actually going to put quiverkillers in and swap between Tecton / Xenic?
