QST. 50/50 usually means 70/30 and the Corvus Freebird is not really a resort ski.

Actually the Corvus Freebird has the same core as the regular version (prior 2017 version, that is). It skis fine in bounds. However, it has a thinner base and thin edges to save some weight. So if you hit rocks often, the durability is going to be lower with the freebird, mostly because the edges don't give you a ton of material to work with.

Yeah I’ve been reading that.
Now leaning more towards either the regular Corvus or the Atris (more forgiving Corvus?) vs the qstLast edited by Roxtar; 01-16-2019 at 03:14 PM.

Atris is a really fun ski if you don’t mind the weight. I’ve been lugging a Rustler 11+ Shifts uphill. Was originally going to go with a Corvus freebird with MTN’s, now going to switch to something lighter for my main bc ski. And keep the Rustler 11’s for the 50/50 and gnarly lines ski.

The plan was to look for a one ski quiver and the 181 qst 106 fit my needs perfectly.
Was about to pull the trigger but sollie is oos for the year. Now I need to decide between the 189 qst or something like the 184 Atris

Unless you are limited to some particular source to get a discount, they are not out of stock.
