Where's Djoko? Wow, Austrians are weaned on clay but shit oh dear. Perhaps Thiem could give Rafa a match (yes, of course it's premature..)

edit - rain delay. OK, anyone's match now.
    edit - 'nother damn delay...

Twice. That’s all Rafa has ever lost at RG.

I didn’t know that until today, I knew it was low but that’s absurd.

    Twice. Ever.

    Rename it.

I don’t think I totally buy his story about short shorts being more age appropriate. I think it has more to do with how he feels about his legs. His legs are great now. Folks at Nike and around the world probably beg to see them. When he was 19 he was way skinnier. https://www.google.com/amp/amp.timei...-shorts-shrink

Nadal has always been nikes' bitch for new/stupid styles. NTTATWWT. At least it's not fuchsia carpi pants.

I will say i was mildly surprised he held up all the way through, has been injury plagued to state the obvious. Dollars to donoughts he doesn't withdraw from wimbleton but pulls up hurt in a match.

Gauff. The early story of the tournament. Fun to watch. Good to see some new US blood.

I like her, let’s hope she has a much better career than that other young Atlantan with lots of hype - Donald Young.

Kyrgios vs Nadal an entertaining match

Sucks to see Kerber lose this early.

Gauff in a thrilling second set tie breaker. She takes the second tie breaker 9-7. On to the 3rd.

She dropped the first set 6-3.

Agree, but maybe pump the brakes some. Speaking to that level of tennis, the sophmore year, when everyone has had a chance to study film on you, is what counts. Ask Shapalov. Tiaphoe. etc. etc.

Yeah, good one Marshall. Year 2 can be tough.
Canucks down to Milos again eh. Hopefully he stays healthy and goes to the end of week 2. Vs Djoko, shit, damn'll be tough...
Wish him well of course, go Milos!

Fed vs Rafa. One of these will be the last big match between them.

    Go Fed?

    Raging now!!!!

Pulling for Fed because I'm old, but predict Nadal will win in 4 sets. Either will lose to Djokovic. May give him a mild challenge but the man is just too big.

Fed spending 30 seconds on his service games. He’s on. Should have had a break a few games back. Looks like a tie breaker coming for the 1st.
