That will be a challenge especially in bad weather. Subaru's Eyesight IME works great in ideal conditions but a foggy windshield, heavy rain, ice or snow can turns it off.
Can't imagine any system coping with such variables whether it's visual, radar or something else.

Amen to that and I wish.

I was at Alta late Feb or 1st day of March 2017 (can't remember for sure) and on that particular the day it puked snow all day long. Getting out of the parking lot took 2 hours and getting back to SLC was another few hours.

Never have I ever experienced such a shit show of inconsiderate and arrogant drivers exiting the parking lot. Lesson learned. Stay slopeside.
