^^ Yeah when it's 90 degrees and uncomfortable during the day I eat an early(ish) dinner and go after. Lights on the bar and helmet I kind of prefer night riding anyway, you have to be focused and very little outside your lights matters, it's also cool to see all the wildlife as you catch them off guard. We saw 2 owls, tons of deer and heard something very large crash through the bushes next to me that I suspect was a bear that wanted nothing to do with a couple thousand hootin' and giggling lumens as it came near him.

That Ebike looks like a motocycle front end! What do you run for tires on that?

Abenaki in Wolfeboro. Pretty cool swath of land, can't comment on what is there as we mostly suffer-rode some REALLY new trail. I can tell that spot is coming along. Cool stuff.

That thing is burly looking. Does anyone integrate a light with the ebike battery?
Last night was one of the worst bug experience I've had in years. Good gawd! Maxing out the heart rate on the ups just to get to the downs. Breath of fresh cool air today is muy bueno!

19 NE - It's all up from here
How bout this weather? Dang! Absolutely perfect, low dew points, sunny and breezy. Setting up to be an ideal day for the Overland. Looks like about 1,000 folks signed up at this point. Mass start! Bad craziness!
Oh yeah, I just put a down payment on this sex machine! 16 pounds of burning love. Got a wicked deal from the boys at Claremont Cycle Depot.

Lots of fun, and a great way to prep for vt50 as a lot of the same class iv was used.
Got a little too excited on last pavé section and now my front wheel is way out of dish.
I always forget how beautiful that part of VT is.
Some serious cramping was the only downer on an otherwise glorious event.

Digging this weather, fkna!
Couple of my locals finished the overland 2:48 and 2:54. They're both strong for the old guys around here. I'm thinking if I had a skinny bike I'd be at least a half hour behind them.
Road the tracks yesterday to some trails and I the way back this dude was stuck in the mud perpendicular to the tracks. It was classic. He and his buddy seemed to have no dirt experience or had never been stuck in mud before with any type of vehicle. I went in with just I'll help attitude and it became pretty clear quickly that I needed to direct these guys on the "how" first. He was happy as hawg in mud driving away!
