Nice! My folks live in Jamaica and I've done that ride up the dam a few times. A while ago, I got crazy lost trying to find more singletrack long the river once you get up over the dam. I definitely pedaled around some unmarked trails, stumbled upon a dirt road and ended up in Townsend then had to pedal back up where my car which was parked at Jamaica State Park. That was long day.

Apparently I lucked out, as there is a trail race this weekend there, so it was freshly cleared out. Even still though, there was a lot of hike-a-biking going on from the Winhall Brook campground to the dam. Made for slow travel for sure. I'm planning on exploring the sections that I can of the old rail line in the next few weeks, as I know its rather spotty/ non-existent. Name: IMG_20190529_181123.jpg

Now I certainly don’t have any money left for race registration.

I just started at Magic, went down Thompsonburg rd to the South Londonderry traim station, took West River Trail to Jamaica, then back on 30 and 100N, then back on Thompsonburg. Good fun loop!

After turning onto 100N, you can cut back to the trail by entering the Winhall Brook Campground and staying left.

That was plan B last night, however, I needed to use plan C and get back to the car as I was racing the sun! (and had to drop off suds at your house!)

It's still raining every fucking day over here...usually at night lately, so the trails are not drying out as they should be by now. Ah, but still a good ride last night, but a wee bit slick for some of the tech.

I don't care what nobody say [\Quebecoisaccent], Kingdom is fun, oui? Sorry.

For real, that place is just fun, crowded or not (not crowded today). Word.

19 NE - It's all up from here

Certainly not crowded were Waitsfield trails this morning. Old school, kick in the nuts techy ups and downs. Love these trails.Click image for larger version.

Will it drown out the sound of my wheezing and sucking of air while I ride?

Good old school steel hardtail on good old school trails. A perfect combination.
