Had to go by the Ct shore for some family stuff and stopped at a place I've never been...Miller's Pond in Durham. Super challenging especially after yesterdays rain and I gingerly walked some sketchy rocks way over my pay grade.

Have barely gotten out to ride so far this summer, but following some overcommittedness and a ski trip I'm so pumped to be mashing pedals for the next few months in NE. A new frame doesn't hurt neither .
Riding it for the first time tonight, can't wait!!
Also big ups to Anospa for podiuming at the Blue Mountain Enduro this past weekend. Fine fine work! It will be much harder to kick your ass at Killington than I had planned, but I'm coming for ya!!

For all of you attending NEMBAfest this weekend. Have a great time!
Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

That photo is actually NEMBAfest specific as it shows the actual location of the festival (fields in the middle ground).
Not everyone in this sub fourum reads the ECRC and/or the photography thread.
And the damn mosquitoes, black flies, and deer flys are so thick right now that it isn't worth stopping to take a photo of my bike just so you can jerk off to it.Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

Salty steve must not be gettin' 'is rides in . Some day you'll hit me up after the Wednesday ride, 'cause I ain't never goin' out with you climbtime maniacs
As for NEMBAFest, I'm pretty claustrophobic, so big events like that are not my speed. That said, it's always looked like a ball if that's yer thing, and I imagine it's a good number of folks first time up there to ride. It did kill VMBAfest, which I'm sad about only 'cause it was a bummer for my local spot. C'est la vie I guess.
After beating back a chest infection (thanks school), I got out for my first ride this week in the forests of Dorchester, NH. That place is soooo damn pleasant on a crisp day- views popping out all the time and flow fer miles.
Cheers beaters. See y'all out there whilst doing laps (many folds to lose).

Just finished a full growler of my IPA while watching the US World Cup win. Have pity on me during tomorrow’s RAS ride. I beg of you.

19 NE - It's all up from here
Good times at the RAS! Peruvian parked right next to me, great seeing him there. 38 miles 4,024vert and long, tough, muddy ClassIV sections, finished in 2:44:52. Really enjoyed the reverse direction this year.
What a great event, great food, including whoopie pies! Beverages, including a couple of sleeves of beer, and some very drinkable kombucha all included! And a tight bluegrass band killing it.
Do this ride next year!crab in my shoe mouth

Super fun ride. Lessons learned:
-Clydesdales have rights too
-always choose the electrolyte drink
-knowing the folks at the feed stations will slow your roll but increases the smiles
-yapping away with buds for 40 miles helps keep your feet going in circles.
The kid that won in 2:19 is the BF of my friend’s daughter. He rode back to their house, pulled out his road bike and went for a training ride.
