We got walloped by that nor'easter last night. I foresee chainsaw work in my future.

Nice, thanks. Pretty sure I know where to look.

Last question - Do those trails shut down for rifle season or have any set closing date?

The front side of the Shaw Center does not close for Rifle. I think even climbing up to Slate Ave trail and the Ridge trail and connecting in to the back of the ski area is probably fine, although I would focus on mid day timing. Everything else I would not ride during rifle.

My addition hint is the trail takes a hard right off the double track and traverse back a bit and is hard to follow for a few moments. Hit the marked trail you went a taint too far.

I just got out for a quick spin in central NH. Not too bad here, mostly small sticks and acorns. So many damn acorns.

9 year old I9 ss hub never serviced. Stopped hooking up last week. Fixed for 12 dollars. May have just replaced the King Headset as the best mtb part ever in my book. One more ride...I need one more this year.

Hero dirt! Unfortunately it's hidden under a smooth carpet of wet leaves hiding all the rocks and sticks. Rough ride but it was oh so good. I love night riding.

Hey scrublover how's the recovery going?

Lucked out when my electrician texted at 3 he couldn't make our 4:30 meeting and packed up quick and hit the tails. 63` and sunny = dry fast leaf riding in the backyard, felt lucky to get out.

Great afternoon for a ride yesterday.

Got a little video but don’t know how to upload screen shots from it (errors out on the app).

Clear to go back to work, and start mellow riding in early November. Found a brace for the wrist/thumb that fits over riding gloves, isn't too bulky, lets me shift/brake.

Big lump of scar at the lower joint ATM, but that will soften and fade over the next few weeks and allow more of my range of motion back,

I was back up there today. Great time of year to fly around on Darling Hills nuggets. Got lucky and caught the train going by at that nice beach on the West Branch.

Is it the Larch tree that turns yellow? Pretty awesome tree, pretty sure it’s the only evergreen to change colors.

Larch is correct, cool tree. They blend in all summer and then, bang, late fall they just pop in the cold valleys around the NEK.

We caught several the little rail motor cars moving back to St J along the tracks when we were there earlier this month. Pretty neat.

Nope, the wahoo elemnt helps me keep in the power zone and was listening to the Cherryholmes, little light bluegrass in the background was perfect.

Butta, we always called those trees by one of their other names, Tamarack.

I wipe out too much. That stuff would be broken in no time on my ride.

Almost lost a $25 headlight off my bars in a crash down “Blood Drive” earlier this week. I’d never risk a $300 Wahoo out there.

Really hard decision! Spectating will be all time, but racing Burke is always an absolute blast, 10-15+ minutes of all out fury in a stage is hard to come by!

I lost the cover on the speaker riding the gravel bike on 4th class without crashing. Broke a light off 3 years ago when a nose wheelie went too far.

I did not know that. That’s what a Tamarack is, very cool.

Nice start to grey stick season, 61 degrees and sunny.

Don't sleep on Grafton Ponds. Tech-tacular spot.

Kids had their last regular season race there today and it proved grueling- in an old school, keep a fast pedal going at all times kind of way. Great people too. Bikes + kids = friggin' awwsum!
