WTB: Your Wife's Old Beater 100mm Skis - in Tahoe

Great day out there today! ...but my friend fell and hurt her neck. Then she said those fateful words, "I don't think I like powder." She's an advanced/expert skier on groomers and is pretty fearless even on ungroomed, but is riding some 65mm east coast race skis. She just moved here and the skis are straight-up holding her back.

160-171 length women's skis. 98-103mm seems right for an everyday around here (but correct me if I'm wrong.) Some tip and tail rocker preferred but beggars can't be choosers.

    Whatcha got?

What's your price point? Lots of women's skis on the Reno craigslist. Also, check shops that have used gear sections like the Tahoe Sports Hub in Truckee or NUTS in Tahoe City. That said, I might have a Volkl Kiku that my lady would part with, it's old but definitely not a "beater" and is in great shape.

Keep 'em coming. I'm also on the hunt in the area for something 160 - 165 95+ underfoot. OP obviously gets first dibs.

Thanks everyone! I'll work with Tara today/tomorrow, send her this thread, and see if she can get into one of these. I'll also post which ones she's saying no to asap, so others can jump in.

Those seem about right. Could you post or PM pics?

Trying to get in the $100 range, which I know is muy dificil. They're broke from the move and saving for a wedding, but her current pair ain't cutting it. After your post, I re-scoured every "ski" post on CL and saw a couple options...appreciate it

^Hey, thanks to all for the replies. Looks like she fell backward into some pow sticks, so no need to order.

OP is out, feel free to pillage offers on this thread. Hopefully some sort of other match has been made...otherwise I just added more crap to the interwebs.
