FS Moment Bibby 190 level 1 Colab

Got these from the level one guys on the CO Craigslist dealio. These are white with black letters. But they are like new except for the one mount for fks pivot at 310 bsl at -6 recommended. $350 local in SLC or $400 shipped. Bindings not included unless you really need all metal FKS 18 (add $200)
Just not seeing use and I have billy goats.

    SOLD SOLD SOLD

Before you call out on price I threw extra money to the guy who got them for us and had to pay shipping. I think it’s still a great deal for bibby.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Ha, totally forgot about tipping Jake. Good business acumen there. And thanks for setting that precedent in case I sell mine.

What year did these come out? Are they effectively the same as the 1/19 Wildcats?

My model is 13/14. I bought it new this season. Bibby was unchanged for many seasons until they fattened it up in like 15/16 I think. Then they brought it back like original for two seasons and now new one is lighter but same dimensions and shape I believe.

They've changed the name a bunch. This is the shape that everyone raves about, not the fatter version. Same shape as current Bibby, just heavier with full sidewalls instead of the current semi cap.

I can verify he's a very good tipper.

    Sorry they didn't work out.

But the fact they didn't makes me reallly want to try a billy goat. I've already drank the Bibby and Protest koolaid.

I plan on an extensive A/B day this year, either by connecting with a goat-riding maggot with a 317bsl or crossing fingers for a snowy demo day.

Two different skis for sure though, like way different.

I would love to hoard some old bibbys, but already have two pairs, and need to save some money for some heavy Wildcat 108s.

    what a great deal.

I like the older ones (like yours as opposed to this years and the couple prior) as they are way heavier than the new ones. Had Moment started rounding the edges/semi capping the topsheet on those (prevented to common Moment chipping) in that year? I'm sure they did not and last pair I had was same vintage but just curious.

JapPowHound has called dibs. But wants me to hold them till 1/19. To me dibs equals payment. So if you want them just send a pm and PayPal. Let’s get em back on the snow.

Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

So this is why I know better than to deal with Newbie Jongs. JapPowHound is still figuring out how to pay me and negotiating. Why do people think this is eBay or KSL? What happened to “wow that’s a great deal, here is my money”
Somebody please step up for sticks. Bindings are gone to eskido

This trio of Bibbys must be cursed. My ride was totalled by a tourist with a bald tired SUV & I’ve not had the $ to put clamps on em.

Been loving mine! Though I did nick a rock on like the 3rd turn I took on them at A-Basin because I was too anxious to get them out. Supremely stoked to really let them loose in Switzerland a couple weeks from now.

Mine are still very much in the quiver, awaiting pow and extensive A/B-ing with BGs.

Reporting back. Never got around to A/B because I hate these too much to even try. Greatly prefer the 193 gunsmokes that I'd hoped the Bibbys would improve upon. I'll try to quantify my hatred in a different thread, but would throw out the caveat that operator error is always a possibility when I'm involved.

I was going to guess it might be a West coast snow quality thing, but we have much drier snow than normal today. Anyway, they're in gear swap for what I paid for em.
