Got my pair of 193's this week too, look super sick! And glad to see they are coming in around 2350 grams per ski. These things are gonna rip!

Right on. Yep, that's what I got, too, weight-wise. I was up way too late last night, stuck in a loop over which bindings to mount. Pivot, Shift, Griffon, or Attack2. AT, GW, OG, etc. They might have to be red. Or yellow. Or red and yellow. Is it worth buying two sets of bindings just for an aesthetic? Hmmm

Tough decision! Having matching colors would be pretty sweet. I've got a funky pair of mismatched pivot 18s going on mine. Seems fitting!

Also, it wasn't until I got them in person that I realized the topsheets are the banana and the Chipotle pepper bicycle jousting against each other, both holding flaming Chipotle peppers as their jousting staffs haha Classic Moment.

On my Ghost Trains, which were wider at 124 underfoot, i ran the 115mm brake no problem. Going to do the same on my Chipotles.

I’m sure there’s some hot takes in the thread and I’m sure the ski is sick...but it basically looks like a jibby renegade. What am I missing?

Good question, havent really considered how similar they are. On paper, Chipotles have a longer length 193, have a longer radius, 300 grams per ski heavier, and have more effective edge. Considering that, it may actually be the other way around where the Renegade could be more powder oriented, and the Chipotles are more versatile.

Havent skied the Renegade, and not sure how the flex profiles differ, so cant really provide a definitive comparison.

Heh. I think the more fair comparison is to the 196 renegade. Jibbier more forgiving version of that tank...

Oh, I was thinking of the current 191 version. The old 196 would be a whole different beast.

Damn....I'm sure you've detailed it elsewhere, but what all is custom about the DW?

Wow. They tracked down the OG bibby topsheet for your custom DW? Wonder if they could do the same for me. Maybe on a different ski. I really dig the 2012 Tahoe blue, 2014 governor red skulls and the 2018 navy bibby...

It’s a standard build for 2020 DW with the 2019 tentacle WC base & the OG Bibby topsheet.

Talk to Jake, he’s the shit- they actually dug up 2 variants of the OG Bibby topsheet & we picked the one you’re seeing. Graphics are so robust & the semi cap sidewalls accentuate the details.
