That's rad - Fasa told me that's his favorite pow ski. He was trying to tell me I'd like it better than Chipotle Banana. He was pretty convincing lol.

As I said to somebody in the Moment chat, my vote for next Moment ski would be a -10 Commander Tour - aka a Commander Tour 94. That thing would be a spring couloir crusher. If it was 10% lighter than the 104 (yes, probably more like 7%), that would be a 1750 gram 188 C94 Tour.

That sounds like chef's kiss perfection - bet a lot of those would sell. I'd buy one ahorita.

Plz and Thx for pressing these amazingly fun toys!

Not to be the word police, the buzzkill or wet blanket here but can you choose other words than the R-word to describe situations or decisions that you don't like or find sub-optimal?

Legitimately find a way to remove that word from your vocabulary even outside of the forum. It really isn't appropriate.

I will almost never find snow deep enough around here to justify that much rocker.

But fuck I bet that thing spins like a top. Want.

Since I am here, PSA for some minty looking 182 Ctour's nearby. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...9363102255411/

Where can I see more info on these Ghost Chants?

Edit: found them on their site via search and sent them an email regarding sizing. Sound like my ideal ski but I’m pretty big (6’4/185lbs)

Aren't these the same topsheets as the originals?

Man, those Ghost Chants look so cool. A pity that that they're a complete mismatch for both how I typically like to ski and the kind of skiing life allows me to do most years these days. A lot of people are gonna have a lot of fun on those this season I bet.

14 chants left, wonder if they're gonna sell out or if the demand for hippy pow skis just isn't where they thought it was. Hadn't heard of them before this release, did NS beg for them?

I begged Melee for years for a re-release and he finally caved.

That's over half of what they produced in just a couple of days, I think they will definitely sell out.

No doubt. It’s early November. Once conditions ramp up I can see folks frothing for a silly wide pow ski.

It’s interesting how different ski design was 10 years ago with rocker - so much splay and abrupt rise. Definitely way less versatile, but when you’re in the right conditions it brings a whole new approach to skiing (thinking back to some 08 hellbents that were an absolute riot)

We will sell out but it's not just about that...

Sure, as a business, its nice to make a run of limited skis and have them sell out right away.

Moreover, it's cool to make unique designs that are not for everybody but they do a specific job really really well. That's why we started making skis and what gets us up in the morning.

I noticed there was not a binding rec on the website - would the Pivot 15 115s work on the Ghost Chants?
