I've had a (surprising) blast in moguls with the Hojis, despite the 195 length/width, and am wondering if you had the same feeling there. Cheers!
I distinctly remember having a bad time on my Hojis one mediocre afternoon on steep, traversing moguls. May have been when I had a forward mount and too much forward lean in my boots, though. Tail was bucking me around a lot. The Meridians are a quite bit better due to tail rocker, and can pivot quickly enough; but softer, shorter skis (Scimitars) are a bit more comfortable.

To be clear, a significant part of my last winter was spent bashing moguls on Meridians, and I had a good time.

I’m totally kicking myself for not buying Blades now, but whoever is selling these when they were $199 is a total asshole & doesn’t deserve Moments.

Just a friendly PSA that they have a full ski shop at the Moment factory. You can buy skis, boots, bindings, poles etc including a master boot fitter to help with your painful feet.

I had a roadie teammate who shared an email account with his old lady. Lots of "phone calls" with that guy around each gear season. ;-)

Yep. Straight up don't want my email to my phone. I can e-mail after work, but don't have much time after work today.

Christmas came early yesterday, gotta say these look spectacular in person. First pair of Moments, always wanted a pair of Belafontes but could never manage it. I'd say the wait was worth it from everything I've read and seen. Didn't demo so anyone who's skied them them plz reiterate how rad they are. Other skis I own are BGs and Variant 97s.

Holy hell those look great! I have wanted to get on moments for a long time now. Finding them up here to try is impossible.

They look amazing. Re woodsman vs commander, should be a pretty easy decision if you know how much weight you like in a ski.

Great looking boards, man. Iím stoked to try my Wildcat 108ís this year, also my first pair of Moments after riding only ON3P. I was also impressed with how great the Wildcats looked in person. Enjoy and think snow!

    Sidecut/turn radius much different too.
Sidecut/tr on production Woodsman is why I went after the proto Woodsman that were straighter/less sidecut, in spite of being the 187's

Good call, mount points different too. The truly tough choice seems to be b/w wildcat 108 and woodsman, which I am sure many are agonizing over.

I don't think I can tell a difference between Shifts and, say, Wardens. They ski like an alpine binding. But they are almost 900g per foot, so way heavier than most tech bindings. Super impressive and they have a place in my quiver, but they're not a one size fits all silver bullet either.

100% with everybody who's saying that no light touring construction ski can come close to a heavier one when it comes to nuking inbounds chop. Weight is your friend there.

Nice! I think a ton of people would be interested in a comparison of those two setups once you've had some time on snow.

I used to be like you. If you need some tips on eating cheeseburgers, let me know. (*cranks up DIN*)
