6'1 210 (naked) I've been on the DWT at 184 for 4 seasons (on my second pair) and I've loved it. I'm sure I could happily get by on the 190, but I'll take the increase in agility and tight quarters maneuvering over the slight increase in stability. It certainly suits me and the kind of skiing I'm doing on it. If I was going for the regular DW inbounds I would potentially opt for the 190, though even with the few resort days I have chasing younger kids inbound on the DWT 184 I've been happy with the lenght. What I really want though is the return of the 2016 Exit World in 186.

gonna be a great combo. The CT110 floats like a beast with the 140 shovel.

Could be. I just meant the mildly softer flex of the DW. I've never tried a Moment bamboo ski. That sounds fun.

Just picked up the Ghost Train in 186, but fear I may have made a mistake. I’m 6’1 210 and ski the WC108, WC118, & DWT all in a 190. I didn’t want overlap in the quiver between the WC & GT if I went 194, as I use the WC for charging at Alta. I wanted the more playful GT so went with the 186. Should I stay with the 186 or anyone wanna swap for a 194?

I'm a little larger than you and ski the WCs in 190, and I'd personally want the Ghost Train in 186 unless I was skiing big, open untracked faces often. 186 seems great for inbounds chop bumps, tree skiing, but also not so short they can't handle speed. They gotta have a nice platform feel underfoot.

someone’s gotta want those 186. They sold out so fast I’m sure some people grabbed 194’s just to get a pair. I know the 194 scares a lot of people but I’ve always been nothing but happy with my 194. Couldn’t picture going shorter. Especially at 6’0

I’m your size +10lbs. I went 194 and like Florida couldn’t imagine being on a shorter length.

    Same, but 220.

    GT 194s

Reach out to Moment see if there’s any chance of a swap

    Sounds like a great combo

Just took my C92s to get mounted

I’ve been loyal DW for 5 seasons but after reading the CT 110 comments I may have to rethink the quiver…

Wow I'm the only one who enjoys shorties. I also love long skis, but have a place in my heart for the right shorties for their maneuverability. Especially ones for tight powder skiing. I was thinking the 186 Ghost Train would be in that camp.

I think I had some tune issues on my 186 Night Trains, but never once thought they felt short.

night trains don’t have triple camber like ghost trains and as such don’t ski shorter like the ghost train does.

Ahh, now it makes sense. I have never skied triple camber.

I “missed” out in the GTs so the 194 CTs it will be. I am liking the idea of those big bastards more and more to compliment my current quiver.

I typically like a more rearward mount. I went ahead and put some pivots -1cm from the line on my 186 GTs. we'll see how they ski.
How did those 186’s ski with the -1cm mount? I’m regretting ordering the 186 over the 194 so I thought I might get away with mounting them -1cm back…unless Moment does me a solid when I call them tomorrow

Seems like most people in those comments would have very strong feelings about a lot of quivers on TGR

And this is why moment only does limited releases or why our favorite skis only come in small batches from them.

I am with ya on both the 186 NT/GT … had the NT and it certainly didn’t feel too short at the time. Some of my favorite pow /tree runs on the NT’s. Had Nanner’s in 186 great powder and heavy pow ski but terrible on rippin turns back to the base or back to the lift after the runouts … thats the price ya pay so gotta just accept they are awesome 1- dimensional skis. Liked the NT’s more. I would love the 186 GT but realize it is what it is and so good in its niche that I would happily deal with the short running area knowing it is not going to work well on anything but it’s intended purpose. It in my mind would be my short tour setup with Cast. 194 GT’s for my 174 lbs plus gear would be a Heli AK dream ski.
