    FS: Blizzard Rustler 11 188m

I skied on these 3.5 days and bummed they are not for me. No edge blowouts, no gouges on the bases. Bases and top-sheets do have superficial scratches on them. In very very good shape. Mounted Salomon STHSs at 316 BSL on the recommended mount line.

    SLC pick-up preferred.

Price Drop: $400 OBO, no bindings

Bummer they didn’t work out for you. These are my new favorite “in-between storms” ski. Fun all over the mountain.

What bsl were they mounted for?

    Trade Cochise

Trade 2016 187 Cochise plus cash ? your bindings would mount well.

Damn, I'm surprised to see so many of these for sale. I've been loving these at Alta in any kind of soft snow. Even fun ripping groomers back to the lift. They're like a trickier Cochise. And I loved the Cochise. Mind if I ask why you didn't like em?

    Bump.

I liked them but I didn't love them. Bought some 192s of the same ski, I'm hoping they will be loved instead. Seems like plenty of people love the 188s so I think it's a personal thing. If I hated them i wouldn't be buying a different size.

I put 1.5 more days on them, now they have no bindings and I'm ready to sell for real. price drop to 450. Only one small guoge near the rear that's not deep or long. Rest are minor scratches on bottom, some scratches on topsheet too of course.

best skis ever. Took me a couple days to like them, but fwiw I'm 5'11 and 195 and have this size and they have become my favorite ski. will straightline steeps through chop, carve bumps, and tear up trees with ease. a dude I know that loves the Cochise had to mount these 1.5 back to like them, but I love them where they are. great in any kind of soft snow and surprisingly good at groomers and hard snow.

Your price was too high, I guess. You can find new ones for around $450 shipped if you know where to look...

Possibly now they are on sale, but previously they were not on sale wherever I looked.

Or I didn’t know where to look.

Well, that Jesse kid who inquired about your sale was someone I know. He skied mine, wanted a pair, I directed him to your for sale post, and hit you up. Your price was your price, so I told him where to find a new pair cheaper. That was a couple weeks back. He now has a new pair and you still have your pair.

The moral isn’t that your price was bad, it was just too high for TGR. This place is a 50% industry insiders who get gear dirt cheap and the other 50% are a bunch of cheapskates. If I want top dollar for minty gear, I know I won’t get it here.

Fair enough, my mistake. Where was it cheaper?

Now summer sales are happening I'm probably screwed until the fall.

Well, when you first listed, for example, there was a brand new pair on KSL, local to both of us, for $100 cheaper than what you were asking. I don't think it has anything to do w/ tgr folk, just too high.

jeebus! Those are HUDGE! Is the turning radius measured in leagues? A little bit of a handful for tight trees but great for schussing Tuckerman.

    sorry
