I will say there is something I miss to back east. Back east it was like chasing the dragon and you almost never caught him. If the snow was great it wasn’t steep enough, or if it was steep it was wind board, or there was powder but no base, or powder on rain crust. You were always looking for those epic days and figuring out do I drive to Sugarloaf or Smuggs? Did Jay get the wrap around or shadowed? Hunting for better touring spots that were steep and open with coverage, etc. Out west things are so much easier, which is great, but there isn’t that same pursuit. I guess it’s somewhat like waking up and all the girls say yea sure, let’s hookup and you don’t have to try to be funny, get their number, go out on a date, etc., but then you miss the chase. Out west 10” skies like 20” back east. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not looking to go back.
