These aren't mine, but were all taken at Jay Peak this season. I might add, not all on the same day and not from the same storm. Looks pretty shitty, eh?

In the early 2000’s I used to drive 13hrs one way to ski Jay Peak. I love that place!

Used to stay at Grandpa Grunts place back when he was still alive and would fry us up sausages for breakfast.

Yeah, this has been a lot of free therapy from the dentist community. I will hereby stop threatening you with a good time until I can send my driver.

For reals, driving sucks. I am glad I am out of Queens and in MTL. I can ski before work although the lines don't really impress people living in Vermont, forget out west. But I can be at some sweet places in a couple hours and traffic doesn't suck balls here. ISBD has summed everything up better than I can. I guess I feel like if you like skiing more than you hate driving, you would do it or just hang out some better place to complain, like reddit.

Looks like there’s no classic, narrow, firm groomers twisting down the mountainside to rail on. Bummer for you.

    You're right.

He'd never make it succesfully onto chair 2 anyway.

a few soup pics wouldn’t hurt either.

Seriously, do you guys even eat the soups out there in the “west”?

Felt bad about my post afterwards. My apologies skidog. I get it. I was just getting defensive about "my backyard".

Haven't been in a while as I've been "stuck" at another nearby Mtn. Friends that have been say it's been great recently.

Just got an email from them tonight, they got a foot and a half to nearly 2 feet the past few days days. Pics look good. Will be there soon though.

On another note... Has anyone been there when they rented the place for the day? I was thinking if we could get enough interest here on TGR to rent the place out for a day, could be a good time.

Its all good...im sensitive about it right now. It'll pass like most things do. Ill adapt. Ill find some skiing. Ill re enter old hobbies that got passed over for new ones while in Utah.

I been in your "backyard" many many times, grew up mostly skiing up in VT. I am aware of its beauty. Its the inconsistent snow and length to get to it that steams me up. And no matter what? My best day ever on the east coast will likely never compare to the many many amazing days burned into memory from the past 12 years.

This would be awesome . Think we can get 75 people or so? Would be pretty cheap per person. Obviously weather dependent, how long in advance does this need to be booked?
