On Xmas Eve 2008 my dad (86 at the time) aired grievances and performed feats of strength while spending the Holiday with his GF.
He called me Xmas Day. Call went kinda like this
Me: merry Xmas. What’s up?
Dad: nothing much. Threw Gary (GF’s son) out of the house last night.
Me: wait, wut? You threw him out, like literally?
Dad: yup, he was drunk and mouthing off at Ellen (GF). I told him I had enough and if he didn’t STFU he would be leaving. Guess he didn’t believe me. You know, when you get one hand on their collar and one on their belt, they’ll go just about anywhere you want. He landed in the snow. May have broken his glasses. Didn’t seem too interested in trying to come back in
I miss you Dad

The pole is up, the sky is dark, it must be time to think up some grievances.
Happy Festivus, kooks!

Valid. The process is more like prioritizing this year.
And it was going just fine with an eggnog latte and gear prep until the melt water hitting the gutters got too loud to ignore. Now I'm aggrieved that I have to start over.

If we scan our own groceries, and there is no actual checker line option even open....Employee discounts should apply.

I've got a grievance with David Muir.

Lol....I totally agree!!
I haven’t watched him (ABC news)....since “you” told me not too watch him anymore....lol. I was getting so depressed watching that every night.🥺
I totally took your advice, I only watch local news now......houses burning down, car accidents, lost pets, etc...lol.

I've been dropping some big grievances over the last few weeks and completely forgot I was just celebrating Festivus. Now I feel so much better.

His interview with Biden last night was pathetic. It's like he thinks he's some sort of hard-hitting journalist that is going to stick it him. I don't mind the hard questions but lets ask some serious ones not stupid ones like "why haven't you ended the pandemic yet?" and "I thought Joe Manchin was your friend, are your feelings hurt?" Whatever. I turned him off and watched a Christmas movie.
