PSA: Kingpins for $275 at TheSkiMonster
Stumbled on this and thought it was a good enough deal to pass along for someone on the market (disclosure: read the tech talk thread on Kingpins before buying!)

Recommend as well. Online presence is good, but almost everyone you run into at the shop is an owner and or super knowledgeable.

TSM is the shit! Amazing brick and mortar location if you're in New England.
Good deal on the bindings to boot. I think they've been selling shifts like gangbusters. Probably trying to liquidate their Kingpin stock. I wonder if Marker has something new in development to catch up.

I read a review saying the Alpinist toe is better with much less weight and expect the Kingpins to switch to a similar toe piece.

Ahh really want to get a pair, but those mags over in tech talk have me thinking that the tecton is the better way to go. But at $275, might be too tough to pass up...
go upside down.

These are 'small'. Is that the brake width? 75-100MM?

I didn’t have the best first impression, but I guess I could be convinced otherwise and give them a second chance. I asked the shop guy to install helicoils on my skis, and he didn’t seem to know what he was talking about re: screw threads. Didn’t give me a whole lot of confidence. Is their tech crew up to it?

Can't comment on TSM technical prowess...however their online customer service is terrific.
