FS: 18/19 Blizzard Spurs - NEW

I am decidedly not man enough for these skis and my new boots were too expensive :/

For sale is a pair of brand new, current season Blizzard Spurs. Still in plastic wrappings.

$600 Shipped CONUS or Pickup in Reno/Truckee. Will trade for ON3P Kartel 108 in 186cm length.

I'm sorry about the sideways pictures, they were vertical before I hit upload. I guess I missed that day of class...

At that price I’d suggest returning them to the place you bought em

While I realize these are this years, spurs have sat around here at $400 before

There’s a pair one year older sitting at Evo for $337. I know the design is updated, but they don’t sell so well for some reason

I appreciate the feedback! I bought these from a local shop on a trade in type of deal and then changed my mind but it was too late :/ I was basing my price of the retail price of these hogs. Do you have a clue what these new versions could be worth to the right person?

Thanks for the comment! Yeah, I'm starting to learn that they really don't seem to be a particularly hot ski. I wonder if the length of the ski is off-putting to people. To be fair, a 124mm underfoot, 192cm length ski is kind of a monster..

I appreciate any constructive feedback. I would rather not have these leaning on my wall anymore!

Not really. Bunch of us on here have skis in the 190+ 120+ category. This ski just doesn’t seem to get much traction.

I sold minty first gen Spurs for <$250. One dimensional ski. Great for Alaska and other pristine lines, but most of us aren’t the GSA.

I’d put them on eBay. You’ll loose some money on the transaction but likely make a lot more than from all of us Cheapskates.

Aren't this year's Spurs supposed to be softer and less full-throttle? Blizzard will probably have an easier time selling these, assuming they can shake the big-gun reputation of the prior model.

    Soft, light, and turny/pivoty.

Blister compared them to the Line Pescado for what thats worth.

Given this ski looks nothing like the old Spur, they should have given it a new name.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Replied to PMs and thanks for the replies to thread!

Serious offers considered, but if it's a trade offer I'm looking for something in the roughly 105-110 underfoot range in 185-188cm length.

    Bump (for now)

How is it that no one ever asked how OP knows she's not man enough with the sticks still in the wrappers?
