Ravens...used one day, 184cm, sexy wood grain topsheets

    Short story:

Used a half day twice, so one full day of skiing. Maybe 7 runs total

Drilled twice for Shifts 310bsl, -3 and -7 hence the two half days of use. First set of holes were plugged with wood dowels and epoxy...sealed up tight and pretty much re-building the core in those holes. Second set (-7) still unplugged.

I really wanted to like new school rockered skis but I guess I'm too old to change my ways. I could not make them work. So I'm going to take my licking and move on.

A few base scuffs and edge burring on the test days, there is lots of room in between mounts for new clamps.

Thinking $350 (in Jackson, happy to ship) if the consensus is that I'm too high I'll listen but that should be close.

Cool looking sticks for sure...wish I could ski them. Someone should though. PRICE DROP to SOLd SOLD SOLD

What year Ravens are these? Aka how much do they weigh and are they the 1st gen or 2nd gen sidecut profile?

I'm not a Raven expert but I believe they are the year before last based on the topsheets...so the same specs as the current models.

^ fwiw these have a much better rocker profile tip/tail (meaning less splay at both) than this year's Ravens. if I could in any sense justify these I'd be all over them too.

Any chance these could take a Speed Turn 2.0 Mount at 293bsl?

^^ if these had more mounts then it might be very difficult, but you should have no problem getting ST 2's in there considering you have a lot of flexibility with the 25mm of adjustment range the heel gives you. Maybe you won't be mounted right on where you want but I bet you can get within a few mm's.

In bounds at Whistler? It can get deep up there, sometimes half an hour deep or more.

You shouldn’t have an issue because the current mounts are all back from recommended

These are 1st gen with 23m sidecut in the front and 30m sidecut in the back. 102 waist. Full width carbon sheets in tip and tail (significantly stiffer than current model). About 1900 grams per ski.

Not trying to hurt your sale but have to be curious how you determined in 7 laps they weren’t for you? Also why did you move the mount back instead of forward?

Haha yeah I bought these from wstdeep last year. For the record, they're sick. Mounted them up with a pair Tectons and they rip.
