That site is full of copied generic text and grammar errors, and the social media links just go to the home page. The scammers appreciate the donation though.

But seriously - if the store is removed from shopify's site, you may be able to start the refund process with your CC provider immediately.

It's not just the single charge for the Garmin, the scammers are probably on a buying spree right now, or are selling the card numbers to someone else who will.

Store is already removed from Shopify. Called and canceled the charge with no issues.

You better call and cancel that card and get a new one issued too. As noted above, most likely the payment info obtained through this type of scam will be used/sold again. Don't feed the trolls/scammers!

You are fucking dumb money whores to have thought that site had any chance of being legitimate.

True, but with a cc what does it matter? I lock and unlock a cc for online purchases anyways.

Also that the product is legit. There is fake product out there for so many things. Personal locator beacon is not the place to go grey market. Hopefully it works out with the credit card.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

That’s the best legit deal so far. REI dividends are awesome.

Try number 2 for getting an inReach mini...

No issues so far with canceling the payment to the shitty Shopify store. Nothing funny on the CC, or other wise. Maybe they got shut down in time? Maybe Shopify holds the CC numbers and only transfers the money to the merchant once the transaction is complete?

I don’t think you get a dividend for discounted purchases from REI?

OTOH, it’ll be easy to return.

You do not. Any price ending in .98 or .99 I believe is not on your dividend.

Garmin put the InReach on sale from 11/15 to 12/31, so most stores will be offering the sale price. They also offered a free month for a new satellite subscription plan through 12/31/19. Den
