    Trees don’t move.

The day started off great at Copper today. After a few pow runs we went looking for something new but on the way I found a dead tree pointing straight up hill.

Which resulted in a couple new holes

(this is my thigh, about a 2.5" diameter hole)

(you can see the blood on my face)

    And 29 stitches

Watch where you’re going out there.

Thanks for the support guys. I’m not one to play “what if” with these things but I have two holes in close proximity to things like arteries, abdomen, neck and eye. The girls got an extra big hug tonight and I think I’m gonna be taking it easy around blind corners in the future. Sometimes stupid does hurt, thankfully it’ll be a quick recovery if everything goes right.

I’ll fix the gore pics tomorrow.

You sure this doesn’t belong in the Bullfighting forum? Heal up and tell stories of your time in Pamplona!

It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

Jesus. Could have been so much worse.

Chicks dig scars, so you got that going for you. Which is nice.

Thanks for the location pic. The powder off the edge of the race fences always looks enticing.

So is that in your arm? And what is the dark red at the center of the puncture? Wow, glad you’re alright!

My thigh about 3" to the left of my dick. The dark red is my muscle.

Got back after it today, everything feels ok. I was worried about climbing since my hip flexors took the brunt of the hit. Hopefully all the other guys/girls in Gimp Central have speedy recoveries.
