We have a swap shop at my local transfer station. Low and behold these old boards were in there for the taking. Elan Comprex S 210cm's. Fuck yeah I snagged them and can't wait to ski them a day. Bases and edges are suitable for a corn day. They have a pretty sweet flex. Not stiff at all. Back in the early 80's I had a pair Elan 05's in a 210 of course. Elan was a hot brand back then as Ingemar Stenmark was THE man. The bindings and mount point are perfect for my boot size. Just had to dial in a little bit more forward pressure.

I don't have any experience with this binding, but I'm sure alot of you do. Some would say they were top of line back then. The two slots at the end each spring have a couple of lines to indicate forward pressure load. Any of you recall how much you need to dial in? Probably doesn't really matter. Just crank them up as more than likely they wouldn't release anyway.

Those bindings are the worst! I had a pair of the jr ones when I was about 10... beware of friends in lift lines popping the red lever.

But, last spring I skied with Phil and Steve Mahre's sister, and she still rocks those bindings and crushes.

Those are just fenceposts jong. Active quiver isn't screwed to the fence..

As for the OP.. I'd also ski them once just for kicks. I haven't been on anything over 204 in over thirty years

One season I DNF’ed over half my race starts because of those damn MRRs. Don’t ski them. Or ski them and lose one ski along the way, for no reason at all.
