100 best ski runs in the world

This one is worth reading for giggles:
    https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/w...uns/index.html

A sample: "The Palisades run beneath the KT-22 lift allows for massive airs and huge lines off all the cliffs and down the steeps."

Fucking desk jockey that probably sticks to skiing the "Magic Carpet" and has never skied "The Fingers" beneath the KT chair or hiked up to the "The Palisades" from Siberia. Dummy!

"Best" is extremely relative to what kind of skiing a person prefers.

    Maybe that's why there's 100 of them.

[spoiler alert] Only 1 East Coast run listed. None of the Front 4 @ Stowe make the list? Nothing @ Jay, Killington, Sugarbush? I AM MILDLY OUTRAGED

Usually grains of salt are taken with any list like this...but #1 includes a terrain park????
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

List seems balanced and accurate, fortunately nothing at Big Sky made the list.

No mention of Sun Valley? The world-class grooming and runs from top to bottom, largely fall line kick ass on some of the mentioned runs. Agree that quality is a perception thing but getting over 16k vert in an hour isn't feasible in many ski areas. You can do it in the valley if your legs and lungs hold up. Bad side, a powder day brings out every Tom, Dick, and Harry within 50 miles. The pow goes quick and not many secret stashes to raid!

If you're very, very quiet you can probably hear the whole population of the alps laughing.

seeing that this is a list for the 100 best runs in the world, 3 east coast entries seems generous

The whole backside of Louise is better than anything at Sunshine. Also no mention of Kicking Horse. This person needs to explore what Canada has to offer.

We need to keep the Mr K chutes to ourselves so the lines aren't tracked out when dropping in from the boot pack above the Explorer lift.
