Exclamation Possible data breach, good time for a password change...

A mag posted a link to a dump of usernames, emails and what appears to be hashed passwords. It looks to be a fairly old dataset, dating back to ~2013.

As there is no associated financial, address, phone or other more sensitive information the damage potential seems to be fairly limited, unless someone really wants to try and log on as digitaldeath.

This has been passed on to the TGR tech team. We do apologize for any inconvenience. Best recommendation is the same one that you read about weekly these days: change your password regularly, don't use this password for other sites, consider using a password manager. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions/concerns. We would appreciate if that link was not reposted again, thanks.
Something about the wrinkle in your forehead tells me there's a fit about to get thrown
And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.
and I never had a shortage of people tryin' to warn me about the dangers I pose to myself.

I changed mine back a few years ago when there was another potential data breach.

I changed mine for the ruskie hack a couple years ago, but forgot what I changed it to. I've been logged on my netbook ever since but locked out on my phone. Guess I'll try to reset using the forgot your password feature, what's the protocol if that doesn't work?

generally the biggest danger is password reuse (you use the same password for TGR as say, the email address linked to your credit card or bank account)

it sounds like that’s not an issue for you, though in general it’s always a good idea to change an assigned password right away... (you don’t know how exposed/reused/strongly generated/etc the assigned password is)

It used to be "LiveLarger" which may be a dumb name, but I liked it a whole lot better than the one I have now. How do I get the old one back?

its super unsecure but it is only used here and slightly sentimental .
Owens banned me for doing something stupid ( posting a picture of a kid sucking his own dk in response to something, which he was right could be construed as child porn and get him and TGR in trouble) and when he let me back on he changed my password to what it is now, which is funny so I left it.

if "woodsy" comes back one day talking about flippy tricks, Florida Georgia Line & American Football, y'all know I was hacked.
