Raven mounting question
Just picked up a pair of new 184 2017's with the sexy wood topsheet. Put shifts on them at -3 which is -2 in theory with my bootsole length.
One day on them
I'm pretty old school and can't get used to the still relatively forward mount (for me) has anyone gone way farther back than that...say another 3cm and is it a dumb play vs taking my loss and selling them...

where'd you score those new? I have been dying for a pair of the wood topsheet 184s (though only if new)

I highly recommend doing them more. Hoji designed skis are really dialed but mount point is new school and critical to ski performance. I still haven't mounted mine but I've skied every hoji designed ski and have always used his recommended mount. They're different. But that what makes them so good.

I noticed same, first day after moving from a volkl more traditional mount. One you have a couple pow days you'll feel the adjustment and it'll feel natural.
